I Want to Pump Like Mommy

Oh Harper- you are the funniest, most alive little child I have ever met. I can't wait to tell all your friends that you wanted to pump like mommy!!

This was the funniest thing- she tried to pump for like ten minutes and kept saying- OH No mommy, No milk coming. It was absolutely priceless!

Just look at that sweet smile! It took you long enough Adley- five and a half weeks we had to wait! It was worth it- you make us all so happy.

And Then There Were Two!

Wow, how much does Harp love her baby sister! Adley is her baby and she calls her by whole full name! Adley Quinn- my baby! It is so sweet! We are starting to be less nervous about Harper holding Adley and less afraid Harp will throw her down on the floor. She's not too jealous but not a big fan of mommy feeding the baby ALL THE TIME!

It'll get better my sweet princess!!I bet you don't even remember when it was just us three do you?

Welcome Baby Girl Adley Quinn

We had a baby girl!!! Wow she was a tiny thing at 5lb 5oz. She quickly got down to 5lbs even and they had to incubate her to keep her temps up. She was so tiny!!! Harper was not so sure about the hospital at first and sort of ignored Adley- which was totally fine by me. I was so hormonal and nervous and scared I just assume they never touch one another! Of course that has changed!!!!!!!!!

Adley- even mommy was convinced you were a boy, I am so happy you are a little girl! Now you and Harper will be the best of friends and she can teach you all her tricks! Of course there is also the added bonus of saving on toys and clothes!

Night Before the Intruder

We went to the doc for a non-stress test and then an ultrasound ( as we had been doing for what seems like months!) and SURPRISE!!! We have to be induced tomorrow (this was on Feb 5th). The baby was not growing and they had to get her out! The night before I pretty much let Harper do whatever she wanted in an attempt to not feel like I was abandoning her! So she colored her entire self and the entire downstairs! Gotta love arts and crafts time! We even sang and danced to music and had tons of laughs- just Harper and Mommy!

I'm Back!!

So, it has been awhile since I've posted. Since the last post I have gone on bedrest for six weeks and then given birth to a new baby girl two weeks early!! We had a few issues along the way but she made it her a teeny tine 5lbs 5oz! Back in the saddle with blogging, I'll start where I left off!! Have a few more posts of the time with only one little girl in our lives that I want to remember!
