Corn
We were making a Lowcountry Boil for a neighborhood party and Adley wanted to help with the corn. She took all of the cobs that daddy shucked and put them into the pot-check. Then she started to take them all out and we just wanted to keep her occupied so we could get ready so we thought-sure whatever. She took them out and put them back in a few times. Then, she started running down the hallway. We could not figure out what she was doing until we realized she was taking all the corn into the front room and putting in on the chair. Then behind the chair in her hiding spot, then on the computer, then of course back in the pot! Hope no one tasted chair fuzz-kidding, we washed it!

Disney Princess on Ice
Halloween-Yay!!
I used to dislike Halloween but now I love it!! The girls wore their costumes around ten times for different parties so they were worth every penny. Adley would only wear her green tutu and has been dubbed the neighborhood green fairy. She still wears it now! She loves that thing! Harper was a beautiful Ariel of course! We trick or treated with Lane Ellie Ryan and Reese. We had done it with them since Ellie and Harper were one year old. So fun to watch it change every year. We made it the furthest this year and the girls had a blast and got tons of candy!
Park West Park Day
Charleston has sooooo much to do in the fall. We have had at least two events each weekend for a long time! Park West has a family fun park day that is all free-incredible!! The girls have hopped and jumped and slid every weekend for about two months now but this was the beginning! So much fun. The big boat picture is an actual titanic slide and yes Harp went down! Very cool!!!!!!!!!

Big Toy Fun
Downtown Day!
We took the girls downtown on Labor Day to see the sights and hang. We don't do it enough! I have so many memories and pictures of my bro and sis and I on the battery with the cannons and stuff and wanted to get some of the girls. It was hot as hades but they girls were troopers! Italian ice helped!
Adley- wow hand full!!!
Adley is almost two and a crazy lady who brings us such joy! Troy and I just sit and laugh at her and recall funny things she did that day! She has the speaking capacity of three year old at 21 months and can give any older kid a run for their money. She can scrape her knees and fall down a playground and not cry at all and keep going! She wears a booger green tutu like it is her job and loves shoes. Most of all she loves her sisie, Naomie and Robert! She take Harp to school two days and walks her to the car to leave the other days. Her words are easier to understand. Everything is I want or Where is--blah blah blah! She is obsesses with this little boy named Robert that I keep. Her baby doll is Robert and she asks about him all the time! She also loves her bud Naomi who is another girl I watch. They are two peas let me tell you! Two bad to the bone peas!!She is thriving at home with all her friends and doing awesome!! I have enojoyed actually watching her learn things as I am teaching her instead of wondering who taught her what- like I had to do wiht Harp. OH to turn back the hands of time! So below are her new words mostly so I can remember when she starts saying them correctly. We are trying to savor every moment now that we know how fast it goes!!!!!

Beautiful Big Girl
It is funny when I think that I started this blog with a little girl the same age as Adley is almost. Now I have a big four year old that I can hold a conversation with and is growing too fast for mommy and daddy! Harp is enjoying school and making tons of new friends. She is such a social butterfly and we are so proud of her. She is starting gymnastics next week as she has taught herself how to do a handstand and round off and does a front flip--at four!!!!!!!!!!! Natural gymnast!! Although she can sass her way through the day, she has a heart of gold and will take on anyone who gives her sister any trouble!!!! My sweet baby girl now a big girl-ugh it sucks but is awesome. She has been asking Troy and I hard questions like why can't we see God and how is Jesus his Son. Does Santa fly and how is he magic? Where is the North Pole and how do the reindeer fly? There is no room on our roof for Santa-where will he land? We don't have a chimney- how does he get in? Too smart!!! I have a feeling our days of believing in Santa are numbered!
I love you little Harpo!!
